Pro Se Legal Privacy Policy Addendum
What Pro Se Legal stores
- Account and workspace data — login identifiers, matter titles, notes, and settings.
- Matter documents and conversations — filings, drafts, timelines, and chat history you create in a matter workspace.
- Legal research activity — queries, cached authorities, and source references when you run research tools.
- API keys you provide — optional BYOK keys for AI or legal-data providers, stored according to your device and sync settings.
- Beta feedback — reports you submit through in-app feedback flows.
- Diagnostics — crash and performance logs for reliability.
Sensitive legal information
You control what you upload. Matter content may include highly sensitive personal or legal information. Do not store materials you are not authorized to keep in a cloud-synced workspace. PSLA is an organizational tool, not an attorney-client privileged communications platform unless you configure it for your own workflow with that understanding.
Third-party legal data
When you enable legal research, PSLA may call public legal APIs, org-hosted proxies, or providers you authorize. Those services process queries under their own policies. We do not sell matter content or research history.
AI processing
Optional AI features may send matter excerpts or prompts to hosted S² infrastructure or to API vendors when you supply keys. Disable AI or use local/BYOK modes if you need tighter control. We do not use your private matter threads to train general models unless a feature explicitly asks for separate consent.
Your choices
- Export or delete workspace data using in-app tools where available.
- Request deletion at [email protected].
- Revoke third-party API keys in settings.
